The frachtwerk project started in 2017 when a group of five young teenagers wanted to start their own culture magazine. Over the years, frachtwerk established itself as an important voice for Central Swiss youth culture, writing about music, art, film, theater, society, and more. After working as co-editor-in-chief for five years, I served as managing director for one year. In this position, we pursued the project of professionalizing and creating a training system. Based on these structures, frachtwerk now functions as a hub for young authors in Central Switzerland to write about their cultural environment. Since 2023, most of the founding members, including myself, are part of the board and have handed over their executive positions to others who continue to drive the project forward.
